Nominations

Thank you for taking the time to nominate. The Isle of Wight Sports Achievement Awards celebrate the athletes, coaches, volunteers, schools and clubs who inspire our community through sport.

Nominations for the 2025 Awards are open from 1 September to 31 October 2025. Please note this earlier deadline and make sure your nomination is submitted in time.

This year, achievements must fall within the period 1 September 2024 to 5 September 2025 to reflect the sporting calendar. Achievements outside this window cannot be considered.

Once you begin a nomination form it cannot be saved, so you will need to complete it in one go. We recommend preparing your answers in advance in a Word document, then copy-pasting them into the form.

Quick Tips Before You Start

When making a nomination, you’ll be asked for:

• Candidate details (name, age, date of birth for age-based categories, sport, category, contact information)

• Achievements at Club, County, Area, Regional, National or International level (with dates)

• Supporting information (why they deserve to win, approx. 500 words)

• A good quality photograph (this can be emailed separately by 31 January 2026 for use in presentations and press)

Finalists will be informed at the end of January 2026. At that stage we’ll confirm attendance at the Awards evening on 19 March 2026.
