About the Awards
The Island's most prestigious sporting honours
Established more than half a century ago, the Isle of Wight Sports Achievement Awards shine a spotlight on the athletes, coaches, volunteers and clubs who inspire our community. Each year over 20 awards are presented, honouring rising stars, schools, coaches, volunteers, lifetime achievement and service to sport.
Why it matters
Sport on the Isle of Wight is built on passion, teamwork and community spirit. These awards celebrate that spirit, acknowledging the athletes who inspire us, the volunteers who give their time freely, and the organisations that make sport accessible to everyone.
From grassroots clubs to international competitors, the Awards recognise not just medals and trophies but also dedication, service and the power of sport to change lives.
